Manage 3rd party relations to provide continuous smooth network and hosting services for our customers, our clients, our clients' customers, and for ourselves. Working with internal groups to design the best performing and most cost effective web application server networks utilizing cloud based resources and to efficiently deploy web software for various websites with 6 million+ page views daily.

Responsible for the design, deployment, operations of hybrid, cloud and dedicated, hardware server network, serving 6+ million page views a day. Utilized open source Chef to manage and deliver cluster configurations to cloud servers, server provisioning through Rackspace and Cloud Servers API. Setup monitoring and performance gathering using Nagios, Collectd, Munin and third party vendors to aggregate and present server event data to the business.

Implemented Jenkins and Rundeck, integrated with Chef, to handle Continuous Integration and daily code pushes of multiple projects to different server clusters, some with manual approval and some with automatic push to servers.

Duties included maintaining existing website, code updating, website performance and optimization, deploy new projects. Implemented and customized Jira for project management. Designed cloud infrastructure including load balanced web servers using Rackspace cloud for clusters, key in migrating from existing server co-location provider to Rackspace Hybrid solution, deploying scalable web infrastructure. Web software developer using PHP 5 (object oriented), MySQL 5, Linux, Symfony, Zend Framework, Cake PHP, SOAP, REST, XML.
